Why the big clouds cost several times more
AWS and Google Cloud price an H200 as part of a whole instance with committed capacity, enterprise support and reserved networking attached, and they hold that rate whether the card is busy or idle. Scalarware bills by the second against one balance, so an idle hour is an hour you do not pay for. The gap is a different purchasing model, not a better-negotiated version of the same one.
